Alaska's waterways and fisheries are valuable natural resources and as such need to be protected, carefully managed and maintained. The responsibility for this falls to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G), who among other things need to ensure fish stocks and their habitats are protected and managed for sustained yield.
Compulsory Fishing Licenses and stamps, not only provide useful statistics to help with ongoing fishery management, they also provide the ADF&G Division of Sport Fish with essential funding to enable them to carry on their good work.
You can not fish Alaska's waterways without a fishing license, so please make sure you have one before joining us on your guided Alaska Fishing Trip. See below for further information on fees and where to purchase.
